Puppy Skills N' Drills

                             6 week group class with field trips

  Take Your Pup’s Training to the Next Level!

This 6-week group class is designed to build on your pup’s foundation skills and strengthen reliability in real-world settings.  We will be taking field trips to varies locations to maximize training and exposure.

Prerequisite: Completion of a private lesson program, previous puppy class, or Puppy Board & Train graduate.


In this class, we will polish existing skills and work on perfecting them in a group environment with added distractions. We’ll focus on:

  • Loose leash walking
  • Greeting people politely
  • Working calmly around other dogs
  • Walking through crowds and busy environments
  • Improved focus and engagement around distractions
  • Reliable sits, downs, stays, and recalls
  • Place/mat work and impulse control
  • Confidence building and handling exercises
  • Real-life manners and everyday obedience skills

This class is ideal for pups ready to move beyond the basics and develop stronger reliability and confidence.

*AKC STAR Puppy testing is available for interested students.

Surviving Puppyhood

Raising a puppy doesn't come with an instruction manual—but this class comes close!

Join us as we cover the ins and outs of puppy development, helping you build a confident, well-mannered companion from the start. This class focuses on age-appropriate obedience skills, proper socialization, confidence-building exercises, and navigating the challenges of puppyhood.

Topics include:
• Foundational obedience skills
• Exposure to obstacles and novel environments to build confidence
• Understanding canine body language and social skills
• When to introduce your puppy to new dogs, people, and environments—and when not to
• Preventing common behavior problems before they start
• Building engagement, focus, and a strong relationship with your puppy

Whether you're a first-time puppy owner or need a refresher, this class will provide the tools and knowledge to help your puppy thrive.
