The habits your puppy develops early can shape the dog they become.
Our Puppy Board & Train programs are designed to meet your puppy where they are developmentally—building communication, confidence, obedience, and appropriate household manners through structure, consistency, and hands-on training.
Because age matters, we offer two programs.
Puppy Jump Start
10-Day Board & Train | 10–16 Weeks of age
The earlier we establish good habits, the easier they are to maintain.
Our 10-Day Puppy Jump Start is designed for young puppies who are still developing their understanding of the world and have had less opportunity to establish unwanted habits.
During their stay, we introduce the important skills every puppy needs to become a well-mannered companion:
- Sit and lay down
- Polite waiting for meals and going outside
- Leave it and drop it
- Crate entry and settling (Puppies must already be crate trained . If not, see our 4 week program )
- Foundation recall using verbal and whistle cues
- Beginning leash skills
- Impulse control and focus
- A structured house-training routine
Rather than simply teaching commands, we begin teaching your puppy how to make good choices.
The result is a puppy returning home with a clear foundation that you can continue building upon.
Puppy Momentum
14-Day Board & Train | 17 Weeks–5.5 Months of age
Older puppies need more time—not because they can't learn, but because they've had more time to practice undesired behaviors.
By 18 weeks and beyond, puppies are becoming more independent and may already have established habits such as pulling on leash, jumping, ignoring cues, or becoming overly excited around people and other dogs.
Our 14-Day Puppy Momentum program gives us the additional time needed to address those habits while advancing your puppy's training.
Training includes:
- Basic obedience and responsiveness
- Loose-leash walking and beginning heel work
- Recall to verbal and whistle cues
- Impulse control and patience
- Polite greetings
- Focus around people, dogs, and distractions
- Following direction in real-world environments
Why 14 Days?
Training isn't just about teaching a puppy what to do. It's about repetition, consistency, and creating new habits.
The additional four days allow us to spend more time strengthening skills, working through existing behaviors, and practicing around increasing levels of distraction.
Our goal isn't simply for your puppy to perform a command in a training environment.
We want those skills to begin becoming part of their everyday behavior.

Puppy Jump Start -Premier
This program is a 4 to 6 week boarding /raise n’ train program
This is a great option for dog owners who like to have their puppy trained before bringing them home . Your puppy can come to us straight from the breeder.
In addition to the skills in the Puppy Jump Start program, we will:
- crate train / playpen train the puppy for you
- get your puppy on a schedule that works for you
- get your puppy comfortable with different noises and places
- take the puppy to necessary veterinary visits
- get your puppy comfortable when traveling
- work on confidence building for a well rounded puppy
- introduce your puppy to many types of toys and chews that most interests them
A Safe, Fun & Enriching Environment for Puppies
We take our puppy environment very seriously! Our goal is to create a fun-filled, safe, clean, and enriching space where puppies can play, explore, learn, and build confidence.
That’s why we have a puppy-only play yard, specially designed with our youngest guests in mind. The yard is filled with age-appropriate equipment and activities, which we regularly change and rotate as needed to keep things fresh, engaging, and developmentally appropriate.
Our puppy play yard includes:
Shaded areas for comfortable play and rest
A puppy pool for cooling off and having fun
Enrichment toys and activities to encourage curiosity and mental stimulation
Confidence-building equipment to help puppies explore new textures, surfaces, and experiences at their own pace
Every detail is thoughtfully chosen to help puppies have a positive experience while developing important social, physical, and emotional skills.
Rockstar Dog - dogs 6 months to 12 months of age
Rockstar Extended - Dogs 13 months to 20 Months of age
Is your 6-12 month old puppy full of energy but lacking in manners? Our Rockstar program is perfect for dogs struggling with jumping, pulling, barking, or general impulsiveness.
Enjoy off-leash adventures together! Through our training, your dog will learn to come when called, stop pulling on the leash, and respect your boundaries. Say goodbye to jumping on guests and hello to a well-behaved companion.
Is your adolescent dog driving you crazy? Our Rockstar Extended program is designed to help dogs this age overcome challenging behaviors like excessive barking, jumping, and leash pulling.
Adolescent dogs have more deeply ingrained behaviors, but with extra time and patience, we can help your dog become a well-behaved companion.
Our program focuses on:
- Impulse control: Teaching your dog to think before they act.
- Focus and attention: Improving your dog's ability to stay on task.
- Reliable behaviors: Training your dog to be obedient both at home and in public.
- Enjoying off-leash adventures: Learning how to safely and confidently enjoy outdoor activities with your dog.

Program details

Good Dog, But… Program
Good Dog But... - 21 months to 3 years
The Good Dog But Program is a specialized 6 week training program designed to help dogs aged 21 months and older overcome fear, anxiety, or reactivity, while also building essential obedience skills.
Our program focuses on dogs who are not aggressive towards people or other animals, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment for both the dog and their human companions.
They are taught the commands come, place, wait, sit, down, and heel. Along with the optional commands of drop-it and leave-it.
All commands are taught to an off-leash level.
Three lessons are included. One at our Ghent facility, one in Hudson NY, and the final one is at your home.
All equipment is included.
Ongoing support for the life of the dog.
Boarding services which are exclusive to our graduates.
